Chef Darryl Fletcher’s (ChefD) inspiration to pursue a culinary career began while watching Graham Kerr (The Galloping Gourmet) and trying some recipes at home. He is a graduate of the Chef program from Humber College in Toronto, Canada. ChefD’s career, as a Chef, has grown from humble beginnings in Kitchener, to all over North America, eventually returning back home to Kitchener. He has worked with wonderful people, at companies such as: Weber’s Restaurants, M&M Meat Shops, and Aqua Star North America. ChefD and his recipes have been featured in Canadian Living, Foodservice and Hospitality magazine’s Chef’s Corner, various cook books, as well as, appearing as a popular guest on CTV News at Noon Kitchener, CTV Vancouver, CTV Edmonton, City TV’s Breakfast Television, CHCH Morning Live, and Kitchener’s Rogers Daytime and Inside Guelph on Rogers TV. ChefD has launched his sixth season of his popular cooking show, ‘At Home with ChefD’ on Rogers TV. He is the author of two cook bookettes, Maple Madness, and Garlic Madness and has a weekly radio show ‘At the Kitchen Table’ on FAITH FM. ChefD has prepared meals for the likes of the late BB King, the late Stuart McLean, Blue Rodeo, Michael Buble, Big Bad Voodoo Daddies, Diana Krall, and many others. ChefD is the popular host of ChefDtv.com; an innovative online cooking show, in addition to creating new recipes and flavour profiles for Piller’s Fine Food, Gold Seal, Gay Lea Foods, Kenwood (DeLonghi), Grand River Foods, and Nutrafarms Inc. ChefD believes in sharing his passion for food with others, and keeping recipes simple, easy, and incredibly tasty!

Carmichael meats offers a variety of smoked meats which include kangaroo, venison, turkey and bison. Available to purchase by mail or at special events throughout Ontario.
Dougal Carmichael began his concession business in 1976 selling confectionery products. He attended many local fall fairs, craft shows and other events creating a successful small family business. In 1987, Dougal expanded the business to include specialty meats. Along with our traditional smoked beef and pork products, we also offer Venison, Kangaroo, Bison and other specialty meats. Carmichael Meats is now promoted at shows throughout Ontario.
Carmichael Meats participates in approximately 50 trades shows, fairs, and special events during the calendar year, serving an area from Timmins to Windsor. At these events we carry an even larger selection of quality meats to purchase individually or in seasonal gift packs. During these events costumers are welcome to sample all of our products before purchasing them.
Carmichael Meats products are now being carried in a few select retail locations in Ontario and have been featured as a monthly artisan for Carnivore Club.
Carmichael Meats continues to be owned and operated by Dougal Carmichael and family. We are committed to providing an excellent product to our customers, and do so with pride and dedication.

Having the ability to purchase my ingredients directly from the farmer while traveling to work and serve them fresh to customers is something that I am proud to do. I look forward to serving each one of my guests with menu creations and palette pleasers worth coming back for. Amanda spent over a decade coaching people on healthy living as a Wellness Consultant. She discovered there was a strong need in the community for a meal prep and delivery company that made healthy food taste delicious. She is passionate about eating well, cooking and helping people. She has always loved cooking for others and brings this love into MVP Meals.
Nicky is a very talented Chef who had a dream of owning a catering business. Nicky really enjoys creating recipes, cooking for others and has a strong background in business and human resources. We have combined our passions of healthy eating, cooking, and tasty recipes to take the stress out of healthy eating for busy people. Every meal is carefully crafted with the combined expertise of a Chef and Nutritionist to ensure the meals are balanced, nutritious and full of flavor.
