Chef Darryl Fletcher’s (ChefD) inspiration to pursue a culinary career began while watching Graham Kerr (The Galloping Gourmet) and trying some recipes at home. He is a graduate of the Chef program from Humber College in Toronto, Canada. ChefD’s career, as a Chef, has grown from humble beginnings in Kitchener, to all over North America, eventually returning back home to Kitchener. He has worked with wonderful people, at companies such as: Weber’s Restaurants, M&M Meat Shops, and Aqua Star North America. ChefD and his recipes have been featured in Canadian Living, Foodservice and Hospitality magazine’s Chef’s Corner, various cook books, as well as, appearing as a popular guest on CTV News at Noon Kitchener, CTV Vancouver, CTV Edmonton, City TV’s Breakfast Television, CHCH Morning Live, and Kitchener’s Rogers Daytime and Inside Guelph on Rogers TV. ChefD has launched his sixth season of his popular cooking show, ‘At Home with ChefD’ on Rogers TV. He is the author of two cook bookettes, Maple Madness, and Garlic Madness and has a weekly radio show ‘At the Kitchen Table’ on FAITH FM. ChefD has prepared meals for the likes of the late BB King, the late Stuart McLean, Blue Rodeo, Michael Buble, Big Bad Voodoo Daddies, Diana Krall, and many others. ChefD is the popular host of ChefDtv.com; an innovative online cooking show, in addition to creating new recipes and flavour profiles for Piller’s Fine Food, Gold Seal, Gay Lea Foods, Kenwood (DeLonghi), Grand River Foods, and Nutrafarms Inc. ChefD believes in sharing his passion for food with others, and keeping recipes simple, easy, and incredibly tasty!
